Job summary

Senovo IT Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior SAP BTP Developer to join a global SAP transformation programme. You will design, build, and deploy cloud-based SAP solutions using SAP BTP technologies, SAPUI5/OpenUI5, CAP, and SBPA.

The role involves working with international stakeholders, adhering to coding standards, and delivering scalable, maintainable software across SAP platforms. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity with Poland as the base.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on SAP development experience with SAP BTP and SAP UI5.
• Experience with CAP, SBPA, and SAP Build Process Automation.
• Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other SAP products.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with stakeholders in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive SAPUI5/OpenUI5 applications following modern UI/UX principles.
• Design and implement scalable business applications using CAP, including data modelling, services, and API development.
• Configure, develop, test, and deploy SAP Build Process Automation workflows.
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with standards and architecture guidelines.
• Produce clean, maintainable code and thorough technical documentation.
• Lead code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and performance bottlenecks; support deployments and releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and share SAP BTP best practices.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BTP Developer to join a large-scale SAP transformation programme for a global enterprise client. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying innovative cloud-based SAP solutions using the latest SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term programme, collaborating with international stakeholders and leveraging modern SAP development practices across SAP BTP, CAP, SAPUI5, and SAP Build Process Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly applications using SAPUI5/OpenUI5, following modern UI/UX principles and responsive design standards.
• Design and implement scalable business applications using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Framework, including data modelling, service development, and OData APIs.
• Configure, develop, test, and deploy business workflows and automations using SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA).
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions in line with established coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and technical documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers and project teams.
• Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance activities to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Support deployments, release management activities, and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge of emerging SAP BTP capabilities and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on SAP development experience with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
• Strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and its core services.
• Advanced experience developing applications using SAPUI5/OpenUI5.
• Solid experience with the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Framework, including data modelling, business services, and API development.
• Proven expertise in SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA), including workflow design, process automation, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including:
• Automated testing
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures and microservices-based solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience integrating SAP BTP solutions with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other SAP products.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and API Management.
• Experience with SAP Fiori design principles.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of SAP security, authentication, and authorization concepts.
