Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a SAP BTP Architect + Full Stack Developer to join its Consulting Services team focused on cutting-edge IT solutions for major market players in the EMEA region. Hybrid location in Katowice with 2 days in office and 3 days remote; you will work across Cloud, Hybrid, and on-premise environments, delivering advisory services and ensuring project quality.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying SAP BTP in Cloud/Hybrid/On-Premise environments.
• Proficiency with SAP BTP services, deployment and ABAP basics.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and participate in advisory projects as part of SAP Technical Team.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and coordinate main project tasks.
• Ensure and manage the quality of implementation projects.

Right now, we are looking for a SAP BTP Architect + Full Stack Developer to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.

The opportunity

You’ll be working using the best practices of SAP development & integration. The idea is to deliver business advisory services in the field of transformation and enterprise management systems; implement the processes in Cloud, Hybrid and onPremise environments, proceed successfully with greenfield and brownfield approach and dealing with Agile and combined methodologies. Your responsibility will be also to manage the quality of implementation projects.

As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your experience. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in advisory projects – being a part of SAP Technical Team. You’ll also participate in post-implementation review of chosen processes as well as in coordination of the main project tasks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Proficient in SAP’s Clean Core strategy for extensibility including Key User Adaptation, On Stack and Side-by-Side Extensibility.
• BTP Services Instance Creation, Binding and Setup.
• Entitlement and Quota Management for Subaccounts and Spaces. Provisioning & Optimizing Memory and CPU allocations based on Service demands.
• Having understanding on SAP BTP, it's services and deployment approach
• Having hands on with SAP BTP service uses and deployment strategy
• Cloud Foundry Application Deployment using Business Application Studio and CLI
• Understanding of managed & unmanaged App Routers for Applications.
• Ability to view and analyse app logs for trouble shooting.
• Configure & Setup XSUAA authentication and authorization for cloud applications.
• Understanding of Cloud Application Programming model + Development experience is a plus.
• Good to have: CI/CD Pipelines setup and maintenance, SAP Mobile Services and AI Core setup using AI Launchpad.
• (If AI expertise is needed: Ability to setup AI Core, create Deployments for AI Models using AI Launchpad, SAP Business AI and other SAP BTP AI Services).
• Cloud Application Programming Model Development with SAP HANA Cloud DB
• RESTful Application Programming Model development experience using Managed Implementation (Unmanaged is a good to have)
• ABAP Entity Manipulation Language
• Core ABAP – Object Oriented Programming exposure.
• Develop applications using Fiori Element and Flexible Programming Model.
• Key User adaptation
• Setup Fiori Launchpad including Space, Groups, Catalogs and Tiles.
• Experience working with SAP BTP Build, SAP BTP Build Process Automation, SAP BTP Build Work Zone would be a big plus
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Understand and design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Readiness to participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Hands-on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• German or other European language is an advantage
