Job summary

KATBOTZ LLC in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead administration, monitoring, and optimization of SAP landscapes across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager. You will drive upgrades, migrations, and cloud integrations while ensuring performance, security, and availability.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with infrastructure teams, delivering reliable SAP services and guiding project rollouts with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience in large enterprises.
• Hands-on with S/4HANA, HANA DB, and cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in user administration, roles, authorizations, and security.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori).
• Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning solutions.
• Manage TMS, client copies, system refreshes, and background jobs.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements.
• Implement HA, DR, and backup strategies.
• Provide technical support during cutovers, go-lives, and project rollouts.
• Mentor junior Basis administrators and act as SAP Basis SME.

KATBOTZ LLC is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead the administration, monitoring, and optimization of SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system performance, stability, and availability across SAP environments, while also supporting upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori, etc.) .
• Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching .
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning solutions.
• Manage transport management system (TMS), client copies, system refreshes, and background jobs .
• Work closely with database, OS, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth SAP operations.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements .
• Implement and manage High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Backup strategies .
• Provide technical support during cutovers, go-lives, and project rollouts .
• Mentor junior Basis administrators and act as a subject matter expert in SAP Basis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience , with strong expertise in large enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA, HANA DB, and cloud‑hosted SAP environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) .
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting .
• Proficiency in user administration, roles, authorizations, and security concepts .
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA) .
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
