The Sales Compensation Senior Analyst is a key member of the Incentive Compensation team, responsible for managing and administering the company’s sales incentive programs. This role turns plan design into award execution, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all incentive plan processes, including award calculations, participant communications, and payments. This role is the primary owner and user of Xactly Incent, leveraging the platform to automate, optimize, and report on compensation activities. End-to-end administration of sales incentive plans for all applicable sales teams, ensuring compliance with company policies and plan documentation
Execute quarterly, semi-annual or annual sales incentive awards accurately and on schedule using Xactly Incent or Excel, addressing complex scenarios
Develop and maintain the workflows, rules, and reporting within Xactly Incent to support plan requirements and business changes
Subject-matter expertise with Xactly Incent, managing system upgrades, user access, and issue resolution in partnership with IT and the vendor as needed
Prepare and distribute regular, clear, and timely communications to plan participants and other stakeholders
Coordinate with Payroll to ensure incentive payments are processed accurately and in a timely fashion, reconciling data as needed
Coordinate with Finance to ensure proper award forecasting and accruals
Provide analytics related to incentive plan performance and participant earnings, offering insights and recommendations to leadership
Perform plan modeling, scenario analysis, and the annual plan design cycle with data and system expertise
Address inquiries from sales leadership and participants with professionalism and customer-service skills, resolving exceptions and disputes efficiently
Maintain comprehensive process documentation with opportunities to recommend process enhancements for operational excellence
Ensure ongoing compliance with legal and statutory requirements, globally
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred
7+ years of experience administering sales incentive or compensation plans, with significant hands-on experience using Xactly Incent or similar platforms
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and accuracy
Proven track record in managing complex calculations and large data sets using compensation systems. Experience in a sales or marketing environment a plus
Strong desire and motivation to develop and continue upward movement in your career in HR
Skills/abilities: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex plan mechanics to diverse audiences
Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT; advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools
