About This Role
As a Sales/Intake Attorney, you are the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing our firm's mission and values from the very first interaction. Your primary responsibility is to connect with individuals seeking legal support—many of whom are navigating highly emotional and complex situations. Through empathetic listening, thoughtful assessment of their circumstances, and clear communication about how our firm can assist, you build a strong foundation of trust. Your ability to lead these early conversations with professionalism and care has a lasting influence on the client's experience and sets the tone for their journey with our firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition
Conduct approximately 20 consultations daily with pre-qualified prospective clients. Your focus will be on evaluating their legal needs, clearly communicating our firm's value proposition, and successfully onboarding them into our system. - Legal Expertise & Education
Develop a strong command of criminal law and Michael & Associates' distinct legal strategies. This knowledge will enable you to confidently address client questions and guide them through their options. - Client Assurance & Support
Recognizing the emotional weight of facing criminal charges, you\'ll interact with empathy and professionalism—easing client concerns, offering hope, and building trust from the very first conversation. - Brand Advocacy
As the first representative many clients will encounter, you\'ll reflect the firm\'s core values and commitment to Zealous Advocacy. Your role is essential in creating a lasting, positive impression that reinforces our premium client experience.

Requirements
- Passion for Client Engagement: You must thrive on phone interactions and enjoy connecting with clients. Experience in client consultations or sales is essential.
- Proficient Sales Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are required. You should be empathetic but also confident in selling our legal services, prepared to navigate any questions or concerns potential clients may present.
- Legal Qualifications: Candidates must possess one of the following: a) An active Texas bar license, b) A bar license from another state active for over 5 years, or c) A bar license from a state with reciprocity with Texas.
- Communication Enthusiast: If engaging with clients over the phone is not your strength, this position may not be suitable for you.
Benefits
Competitive Salary Range: $130000- $200000 per year (depending on experience and performance)
