Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks an experienced System Safety Leader to support System Safety Assurance activities in an automotive engineering setting. The role emphasizes independent confirmation reviews, safety compliance, and strengthening system safety practices aligned with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448.

You will work with the System Safety Competence Center to improve governance, safety culture, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) with experience in Confirmation Reviews.
• Hands-on safety analysis methods: HARA, FTA, FMEDA, FMEA.
• Solid understanding of System Safety Engineering practices and Embedded HW/SW systems.
• Soft skills: analytical mindset, integrity, collaboration, cross-functional work, proactive.

Responsibilities

• Perform Confirmation Reviews of system safety work products to ensure ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 compliance.
• Provide expert interpretation and feedback on review results to engineering teams.
• Support alignment with SOTIF principles where applicable.
• Collaborate with the Swedish System Safety organization and follow defined processes.
• Contribute to system safety culture, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Share knowledge within internal communities and drive safety improvements.

Job description

We are looking for experienced System Safety Leaders (SSLs) to support System Safety Assurance activities within an automotive engineering organisation.

The role focuses on independent confirmation reviews, safety compliance, and strengthening system safety practices, aligned with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) standards.

You will work closely with the System Safety Competence Center contributing to governance, safety culture, and continuous improvement

Scope of Work includes

• Functional Safety (FUSA) and SOTIF domains
• Safety of automotive electrical/electronic systems (HW & SW)
• Analysis of:

  • Random hardware failures
