Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Revenue Accounting Operations Analyst in Kraków to manage day-to-day revenue accounting, close workflows, and ensure compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606).

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex inquiries and drive accurate reporting. The role requires 3+ years in revenue accounting or FP&A, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive revenue accounting or FP&A experience.
• Exposure to core accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Experience managing month-end close and audit-ready documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data modeling and variance analysis; strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Revenue Accounting & Recognition: manage daily revenue accounting operations and determine proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 / US GAAP.
• Month-End Close & Reconciliations: perform close deliverables, journal entries, balance sheet and deferred revenue reconciliations, ensure SOX controls.
• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: conduct monthly/quarterly revenue analytics and variance analysis, support reliable revenue outlooks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk to provide guidance on non-standard deal terms.
• Process Improvement & System Optimization: contribute to automation and data integrity initiatives.
