  • Develop innovative thermal concepts from theory to proofs and prototypes.
  • Perform CFD simulations to analyze flow and heat processes.
  • Model and optimize heat transfers including convection and radiation.
  • Validate simulations with test data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job description

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Develop innovative thermal concepts, taking ideas from theory to proof‑of‑concept and prototypes.
  • Perform CFD simulations to analyze flow and heat processes, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Model and optimize heat transfers, including free and forced convection and thermal radiation.
  • Research and develop thermal systems in single‑phase and multiphase models, focusing on solid‑fluid interactions.
  • Validate simulation results by comparing them with test and measurement data, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
What You Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics, with a focus on Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
  • You have at least 6 years of professional experience in research or engineering.
  • You are skilled in CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent or STARCCM+.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
  • You have experience setting up and supervising research experiments.
  • Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
