The Institute of Geological Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences, is seeking a PhD researcher to work in the research team led by dr. hab. Maciej Bojanowski. The position will cover research focused on Cenozoic hyperthermal events by combining ichnological, sedimentological, and geochemical investigations, including stable isotope and trace element analysis.
The successful candidate will be expected to have expertise in ichnological analysis and carbonate sedimentology, experience in geological field work, sedimentary petrology and geochemistry, and analytical laboratory works applied to sedimentary rocks. They should also have experience in academic writing and presenting at scientific conferences in English.
