Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a Requirements Management Tools Engineer to strengthen our development tool landscape across global engineering teams. You will maintain and optimize tools like Polarion, Jama, DOORS, and DOORS Next Gen, ensuring compliance and scalability.

Responsibilities include advising engineers, configuring tools, delivering training, and integrating tools with DevOps practices to improve data flow and traceability across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent.
• Experience with Polarion, 3DS, Jama, DOORS/DOORS Next Gen, CodeBeamer, R4J, TFS or similar ALM/PLM tools.
• Experience SQL, Javascript or similar technologies used for tooling extensions.
• Knowledge of aSPICE, ISO 26262, TISAX or similar standards.
• Experience or knowledge in automotive, software quality assurance, aSPICE, safety critical systems, or system/software architecture definition.
• Knowledge or experience with agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or XP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the requirements management tools in use or other RM/ALM systems on the existing infrastructure.
• Understand business requirements and advise on the best tool for each use case.
• Design and develop custom solutions for traceability, test status reports, and implementation.
• Provide coaching and online training on tool configuration and best practices.
• Coach report creation and usage for best practices and aSPICE compliance.
• Integrate RM tools with other development tools to enable DevOps and data flow.
