Job summary

PwC South Africa seeks a part-time Workday Accounting Center Consultant (Freelance) to lead implementations and provide expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will design, configure, and optimize Accounting Center solutions, translating accounting and reporting needs into effective Workday configurations.

Collaborate with stakeholders, provide architecture guidance, and perform configuration, testing, and validation to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Accounting Center design and Workday configuration.
• Experience translating accounting and reporting needs into Workday solutions.
• Availability to support project part-time (~20 hours/week) and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Accounting Center implementations across the project lifecycle.
• Design, configure, and optimize Accounting Center solutions per requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into Workday configurations.
• Provide guidance on architecture, configuration, and process improvements.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and validation for successful delivery.
• Support data integration and reconciliation within Workday Accounting Center.
• Leverage Prism Analytics for reporting and data management.
• Adhere to PwC implementation standards and best practices.
• Support client discussions and business development initiatives.
