Job summary

Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Welsh Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in Poland. The role focuses on applying linguistic expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated Welsh content.

You will assess grammar, semantics, style and cultural nuance, identify recurring errors, and help refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines in a fully remote freelance setup.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native Welsh with strong usage knowledge.
• Experience in translation, linguistics, teaching, editing or content creation.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain linguistic decisions.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors.
• Experience with linguistic annotation or AI training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate Welsh-language content used for AI training.
• Assess AI outputs for grammar, fluency, meaning, style.
• Identify issues and provide actionable feedback.
• Document recurring error patterns to improve model performance.
• Collaborate remotely with teams to resolve cases and improve evaluation quality.
• Apply consistent annotation standards.
