Job summary

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our remote-first Europe-wide team. You will create automated tests, analyze results, and contribute to workload modeling, performance analysis, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 1.5-4 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
• Strong Python and/or Scala scripting skills, including object-oriented programming.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based systems and infrastructure components such as streams, queues, and hosts.
• Experience analyzing test results and identifying issues or unexpected behavior.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to develop skills in performance testing and performance analysis.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
• Design workload scenarios based on production traffic patterns and SLA/SLO requirements.
• Script dynamic test scenarios with parameterization, correlation, data driving, and assertions.
• Integrate load tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing.
• Analyze performance test results and metrics to identify performance issues.
• Profile microservices, REST APIs, and database response times under load.
• Identify client/server-side bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Share test results and performance findings with technical teams and stakeholders.
