Job summary

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Start Up Lead to join our European team. The role is focused on global site start-up activities, IRB/EC submissions, ICF customization and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time activation across countries.

The ideal candidate has extensive start-up project leadership experience in CRO or biotech, strong English and local language skills, and a track record of managing timelines and budgets. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field (or RN/equivalent).
• 5+ years in start-up activities, ideally SU Lead or PM in CRO/pharma or biotech.
• 2+ years in project milestone management, resources, budgets, and coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage site start-up process with activation readiness strategy.
• Coordinate critical path planning: IRB/EC, CA/MoH, ICF customization, risk mitigations, contract execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure input for milestone planning and timely delivery.
• Participate in client meetings to establish expectations, risk mitigation, status reporting, and metrics.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Oversee tracking systems to ensure real-time progress against timelines.
• Coordinate translations for submission documents.
• Maintain communication with feasibility, regulatory, and site contracts groups.
• Act as SME for country start-up data points and country-specific tools.
• Support country/site start-up activities as needed.
• Facilitate country start-up training and knowledge sharing.
