Sweco seeks a Solution Architect to design and evolve web platforms using Node.js, Vue.js and TypeScript.

You will translate business needs into scalable architectures, guide development teams, ensure security, performance, and maintainability, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and stakeholders.

This hybrid role offers remote options and offices across Belgium; contribute to cloud-native, API-driven systems and a future-facing technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect or senior engineer with architectural responsibilities.
• Strong background in Node.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of software architecture, system design, and modern development practices.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable digital platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Balance strategic thinking with delivery-focused approach.
• Dutch language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable architectures for web applications and digital platforms.
• Translate requirements into clear technical solutions.
