Job summary

Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed AI team and build data pipelines powering model training. You’ll develop scalable systems to source, process, and curate training data for state-of-the-art models.

You’ll collaborate with AI scientists, own end-to-end data pipeline projects, and optimize for quality, throughput, and cost while operating in a fast, asynchronous environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering.
• Strong Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience with data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Discover new audio data sources and build reliable pipelines.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets.
• Own projects from discovery to implementation and improvement.
