Job summary
gravity9 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our Product Development team within the Digital Practice. You will build data platforms and AI-enabled solutions on Microsoft Azure, delivering analytics, decision support, and autonomous operations for clients.
This fully remote role requires residence in Poland. You will mentor others, lead data pipeline design, ensure governance and security, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists and designers to lift client
Qualifications
- 7+ years in data engineering or software development
- 3+ years hands-on with Azure Databricks or Spark
- Strong Python, PySpark and SQL skills
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience designing end-to-end data solutions and data governance
Responsibilities
- Deliver agile backlog items and meet acceptance criteria
- Design and operate ingestion and orchestration pipelines in Azure Data Factory
- Develop ETL/ELT in Azure Databricks for analytics and AI
- Lead code reviews and set engineering standards
- Shape data architecture decisions and semantic models for AI
- Apply data governance, security and residency controls
- Mentor team members and communicate progress
