Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced security engineer to implement and maintain enterprise security platforms with emphasis on DLP, endpoint security, and related SecOps technologies.

You will configure security controls, automate monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security operations and investigations. The role requires a strong background in cybersecurity and experience with scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity, security engineering, or related technology experience.
• Experience deploying or supporting enterprise security technologies and controls.
• Strong understanding of endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and data security domains.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain enterprise security platforms with emphasis on DLP and endpoint security.
• Configure and optimize security controls, policies, integrations, and telemetry.
• Develop automation and monitoring to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Incident Response and Threat Intelligence teams to support security operations.
• Evaluate and test new platform capabilities and security technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and security domains.
• Create and maintain technical runbooks and procedures while on-call.
