Job summary

Opulence Home Equity is seeking an experienced Reverse Mortgage Processor to join our growing team. This remote role, based from Ramsey, NJ, focuses on processing reverse mortgage loans from application to closing and coordinating with borrowers, title companies, and third parties.

The ideal candidate has strong mortgage documentation knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Hybrid in-house training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage processing experience is required.
• Reverse mortgage / HECM processing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, disclosures, and compliance timelines.
• Excellent communication and borrower relationship skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with mortgage LOS and CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process reverse mortgage loan files from application through closing.
• Review and organize borrower documentation to ensure complete and accurate loan files.
• Prepare and distribute required disclosures in compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Communicate directly with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and third parties to obtain required documentation and clear conditions.
• Monitor loan milestones and maintain accurate pipeline updates.
• Ensure files meet lender, investor, and compliance guidelines.
• Assist in resolving loan conditions and processing-related issues on time.
