Job summary

Zoho is seeking a QA Engineer to own feature quality from requirements through release. You will design test plans, cases, and checklists; perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing across web products; and work closely with developers and product teams to catch issues early.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience, preferably for web apps.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC and defect lifecycle.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and scenarios.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar.
• SQL/database testing knowledge.
• Experience with Jira, Asana or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration with dev/product teams.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and acceptance criteria to identify testing needs.
• Create test plans, cases, scenarios, and checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues.
• Perform API testing and validate backend integrations.
• Identify edge cases and quality risks early.
• Regression testing for new releases.
• Improve QA processes and release workflows.
• Support automation initiatives and reduce manual testing.
• Take ownership of quality from requirements to release.
