Job summary

ETFBOOK is seeking a Product Owner with a technical background to drive the ETF data analytics platform. You will refine user stories, manage the backlog, and steer sprints for rapid delivery to institutional clients.

You will collaborate with Business, Tech, and Client Support to ensure accurate data, clear specifications, and timely releases. The role is 100% remote within the European time zone, with a B2B contract and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Product Owner or equivalent roles.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for squad delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to order under constraints and explain trade-offs.
• Willingness to learn ETF basics quickly.
• Comfort working with data directly using SQL, Databricks or AI tools and sanity checking numbers.
• Strong attention to detail and spotting inconsistencies across data and behavior.
• Able to manage scope under pressure and guard against scope creep.
• Strong stakeholder communication with Business, Technology and client-facing teams.
• Escalation discipline for scope, date and commitments.
• Experience with analytics or BI tools used by clients is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET, Azure and cloud data processing architectures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manages the web platform squad backlog day-to-day and plans ahead.
• Writes clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Keeps the board as the single source of truth for planned, in-progress and delivered work.
• Conducts product-side testing before client delivery.
• Owns sprint goals and communicates release notes.
• Performs product and competitor research to prioritize effectively.
• Ensures correct data presentation and field definitions for clients.
• Acts as first line for client questions via Client Support and routes patterns to Product Manager.
• Collaborates with delivery lead and QA and escalates capacity conflicts early.
• Organises bi-weekly sprint demos for the company.
• Adapts to fast growth and shifting priorities across the team.
