Job summary

Experis ManpowerGroup Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled database engineer to design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL solutions. You will implement high-performance SQL, integrate with REST and SOAP services, and automate tasks with Bash/PowerShell.

Role involves collaboration on architecture, active participation in planning, and contributing to CI/CD deployments. Remote-first role with occasional client-site visits in Poland; permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
• REST and SOAP integrations experience.
• Bash and PowerShell scripting experience.
• Experience providing L2/L3 technical support for database issues.
• Proficiency with Git and Git Flow.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Interest in AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Optimize database processes and SQL queries to ensure high system performance, including execution plan analysis and proactive performance tuning
• Develop and maintain database integrations with external web services using REST and SOAP protocols
• Create and maintain Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate database-related tasks and system operations
• Provide advanced L2/L3 technical support for complex database issues, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Actively participate in planning sessions and architectural discussions with the development team
• Work with Git and Git Flow for version control
• Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and automated deployment activities
