Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Integrations team building mission-critical systems that connect a public safety platform with third-party tools including 911 centers and state databases. You will design and build integration workflows with Java and Spring Boot, and contribute to reliable data pipeline architecture for RMS, CAD, and Booking products.

The role is backend-focused, emphasizing clean, testable, and well-documented integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience designing integrations with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile development.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate well.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party client systems.
• Develop integration workflows using Java and Spring Boot.
• Enhance RMS, CAD, and Booking products with scalable integration capabilities.
• Design secure, reusable, cloud-based integration solutions.
• Write tests, debug production issues, and improve reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deploy processes.
• Participate in code reviews and PR-based development.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and partners to deliver robust solutions.
