ElevenLabs is seeking an engineer to own and optimize our research infrastructure and GPU clusters. You will automate provisioning, scheduling, monitoring, and upgrades, ensuring fast, reliable throughput for model training.

Qualifikationen

• Experience running large-scale Linux server or GPU environments in production.
• Working knowledge of NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, NCCL.
• Comfort with bare-metal environments and high-speed networking.
• Solid automation skills with Python and/or Bash; IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Ability to analyze metrics/logs (PromQL) to diagnose issues.
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end scope and reliability responsibility.

Aufgaben

• Operate and improve GPU fleet end to end: provisioning, scheduling, monitoring, upgrades, capacity planning.
• Build automation to keep fleet healthy with minimal human intervention.
• Own the stack beneath the training code: OS images, NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, container runtimes, NCCL.
• Run and tune job scheduling (Slurm or similar) for fair, fast compute.
• Build and maintain high-performance storage for datasets and checkpoints.
• Identify and fix performance problems, bottlenecks, and flaky GPUs.
• Evaluate rented GPU capacity and ensure SLA alignment.
• Hands-on hardware work: racking, cabling, coordinating with datacenter staff.
• Maintain security: access control, network isolation, secrets.
