Job summary

RTX is seeking a Supplier Development Lead to drive containment, recovery, and supplier development across global commodities. This hands-on, cross-functional role requires strong leadership to implement structured improvement plans and monitor KPIs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in supplier management, Lean methodologies, and global matrix environments, with willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced degree with several years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading supplier recovery and development projects.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization.
• Proven Lean/Continuous Improvement mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead containment, recovery, and supplier development actions across global commodities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement improvement plans and track KPIs.
• Conduct RCCA investigations and ensure sustainable issue resolution.
• Align with commodity managers and engineering for readiness on new programs and ramps.
