Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the DataTech teams responsible for data ingestion, processing and publishing within PitchBook. You will own delivery outcomes, drive velocity, quality and scalability, and partner with Product and Data domains to align plans.

This role offers a fully remote setup around the globe or a hybrid option from our office hubs, with a focus on growing engineers, applying GenAI to SDLC, and building reliable, observable platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multiple software/data teams.
• Strong Java development background with hands-on coding.
• Track record of improving planning, prioritization and delivery.
• Ability to use delivery data and visualization to drive improvements.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and outcomes for DataTech teams.
• Ensure SDLC execution and technical quality.
• Plan capacity and manage staffing.
• Lead and grow engineers and SDE Leads.
• Strengthen collaboration with Product and Data teams.
