Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Payroll Specialist (f/m/d) to own end‑to‑end payroll execution for assigned countries or regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong internal controls. This remote role supports Austria, Poland or Hungary within the EMEA region.

You will process Austrian and other DACH payrolls, validate data, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to harmonization and system improvements with a cross‑functional payroll team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Human Resources.
• At least 5 years of experience processing complex payroll.
• Strong end‑to‑end payroll expertise with complex calculations.
• German language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Process Austrian and other DACH payrolls with precision and timeliness; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Validate and correct payroll data prior to processing; escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records including tax withholdings and benefits.
• Collaborate on payroll system upgrades and standardized workflows across EMEA.
• Support documentation and implementation of standardized payroll procedures.
