BlueWave.IT Consulting is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain embedded software for transportation projects. You will write and review code, debug on target hardware, and contribute to software quality through testing and documentation.

The role requires hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ (C++14+), familiarity with RTOS (Zephyr or similar), and strong collaboration across distributed teams in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in Embedded Software Programming on real hardware
• Coding standards, version control and collaborative development practices
• Debugging embedded systems with tools, logs and hardware interfaces
• C++ (min. C++14) for embedded systems
• Familiarity with RTOS (Zephyr OS) is beneficial
• Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet) and ARM architecture
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in technical field or equivalent experience
• Hybrid/remote collaboration with distributed teams
• Experience with software quality assurance, testing and CI pipelines is a plus
• Experience in regulated industries (Functional Safety) is a plus
