Job summary

DAC.digital Group, in partnership with a leading German consulting firm, seeks a data engineering specialist to migrate an enterprise data warehouse to Snowflake on AWS. You will build robust data pipelines, maintain dbt models, and develop Python-based extraction and ingestion processes in a production environment.

You will also design and orchestrate Airflow DAGs, perform data modelling and parity testing, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver scalable cloud data

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake in real implementation projects.
• Practical experience with dbt in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, IAM, EC2).
• Proficiency in Python for data extraction, automation, and tooling.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines including code reviews and deployment across environments.
• Knowledge of English (min. B2).
• Working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• High communication skills; eager to learn and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of an enterprise data warehouse to Snowflake on AWS.
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt in production.
• Build data extraction and ingestion processes with Python and dlt.
• Create and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate end-to-end workflows.
• Perform source analysis, data modelling, conversion, and parity testing.
• Collaborate with Git and CI/CD pipelines to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to support code conversion and standardisation.
• Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical design, development standards, and best practices.
• Participate in large-scale enterprise data warehouse modernization initiatives.
