Job summary

RS Group is seeking a strategic Data Governance Manager to shape the organisation's data agenda. You will lead governance, MDM, and data standards while enabling trusted reporting and analytics. The role involves collaboration with business leaders and technology teams across Poland, with a remote work arrangement.

You will drive data ownership, establish controls, and support SAP S/4HANA migration while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance within large-scale transformations such as ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in MDM, data standards, and governance frameworks.
• Experience establishing data ownership, stewardship, and accountability across business functions.
• Fluent English and excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-wide data governance with clear ownership and decision-making.
• Establish federated data ownership across business domains.
• Lead MDM strategy, standards, and controls.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation with data governance and migration readiness.
• Develop governance frameworks for trusted reporting and data products.
• Oversee data quality, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document and communicate governance decisions for transparency and auditability.
• Partner with technology, security, and risk teams to maintain compliance.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks across initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data governance across the organisation.
