Tasks

Data Center Infrastructure Management: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance, availability, and capacity of data center systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and uptime.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within the data center to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Disaster Recovery and Backup: Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to protect critical data and systems in case of failures.
Security and Compliance: Ensure data center operations comply with security protocols and industry standards, implementing physical and logical security measures.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and system changes. Prepare reports on system performance and incidents.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other IT teams (network, storage, security) to ensure seamless integration and support for all data center systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (2-5 years) in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data center infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking protocols, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.
Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Understanding of data center security practices, including physical security, firewalls, encryption, and access control.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA) related to data center operations and security.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support staff.
