Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Domain Architect in Poland to shape enterprise security strategies across cloud, infrastructure, identity, and data environments.

You will define current-state and target-state architectures, establish standards and multi-year roadmaps, and lead security initiatives with Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate business, compliance, and operational requirements into practical security solutions,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Security Architect or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity, enterprise security architecture, and security solution design.
• Experience designing Azure Security Architecture and Azure-native security controls.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and IAM.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware security architecture.
• Solid understanding of network segmentation, zero trust, and defense-in-depth models.
• Hands-on knowledge of Defender for Cloud/Endpoint/Identity.
• Security governance, risk & compliance, data protection, encryption, threat detection, incident response.
• Experience developing security strategies, standards, controls, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Ability to perform current-state and target-state architecture assessments.
• Experience preparing ADRs and ARB support.
• Strong ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts to executives.
• Experience with healthcare or public-sector security/compliance is valuable.
• Ability to balance security with business needs and constraints.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and maintain enterprise security architectures across cloud, infrastructure, identity, networking, and data.
• Develop current-state and target-state security architectures aligned with objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Define and maintain security standards, controls, reference architectures, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership across Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Design security capabilities including Entra ID/IAM, Zero Trust, segmentation, data protection, and encryption.
• Guide implementation of Microsoft security technologies (Defender suites).
• Facilitate security roadmap workshops with stakeholders and secure approvals.
• Support implementation of roadmaps and track risk, compliance, and outcomes.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, gap analyses, risk analyses, and evaluations.
• Develop ADRs and ARB documentation for architectural decisions.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and mitigation strategies.
• Advise executives on risks, priorities, trade-offs, and remediation approaches.
• Contribute to threat detection, incident response, and resilience initiatives.
