Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Google Cloud Solution Architect to lead cloud adoption initiatives. You will provide technical leadership, design secure, scalable GCP architectures, and collaborate with DevOps teams to implement AI-enabled solutions and automation.

You will act as a cloud ambassador within the Cloud Center of Excellence and promote FinOps practices. The role requires 5+ years in cloud architecture, strong GCP skills, and experience with modern CI/CD and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role in large organizations.
• Proven experience with GCP; Azure experience is a strong plus.
• Hands-on design, deployment, and operation of GCP infrastructure services.
• Experience with modern CI/CD solutions and IaC tooling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cloud adoption with focus on GCP and Azure.
• Guide DevOps teams in designing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
• Act as trusted advisor across the cloud adoption lifecycle.
• Lead as cloud ambassador representing the CCoE.
• Promote FinOps and educate teams on cost optimization.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies and runbooks.
• Design architectures for cloud-native, hybrid, and data-driven solutions.
• Enable IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Produce architecture docs, decisions, and implementation guidelines.
• Develop AI-driven solutions, copilots, and knowledge assistants.
