Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure Databricks.
• Very good knowledge of PySpark and PySpark SQL.
• Practical experience working with Azure Data Lake.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance data and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics / Databricks.
• Work with large datasets using PySpark and PySpark SQL.
• Develop and maintain data processing and transformation logic within the Azure ecosystem.
• Work with Azure Data Lake and related data storage and integration components.
• Analyze data, identify patterns and data quality issues, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Understand business processes and translate requirements into technical and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Proactively identify improvements, risks and gaps in existing data solutions.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of delivered solutions with strong attention to detail.
