Job summary

UMATR is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer for a 6-month contract in Warsaw. You will join a data platform team to design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Python and SQL.

You will work with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures, build production-grade ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve data quality and platform performance.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks.
• Advanced Python, PySpark and SQL skills.
• Experience with Delta Lake / Lakehouse architecture.
• Strong understanding of modern data engineering principles.
• Experience building and optimising large-scale data pipelines.

We’re working with a technology-led business that is looking for an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

You’ll be joining a major data platform project, working within an experienced engineering team to build and improve scalable data solutions using Databricks at the heart of the environment.
