Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for a fully remote hourly contract to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code. You’ll help train AI systems to think like real developers by writing solutions, reviewing outputs, and providing expert feedback.

You’ll write, debug, and optimize code, review AI-generated results for correctness and performance, and design prompts to stress-test capabilities. Work independently with 10–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Ability to read, write, and reason about code with clarity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug and optimize code across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency and readability.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works or not.
• Design coding prompts and edge cases to stress-test AI capabilities.
