Job summary

Look4IT is seeking a Security Architect to shape how AI platforms and models are secured across the enterprise. You will join a central IT security function and help define security for AI workloads in cloud, on‑premises and hybrid environments.

You will build security reference architectures, set standards, secure traffic, apply Zero Trust, run threat modelling, and mentor other architects and engineers in a senior, high‑impact role with international collaboration and potential remote work.

Qualifications

• A solid background in infrastructure and network security.
• Hands-on experience designing secure architectures on at least one major public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Practical knowledge of AI gateway / LLM gateway solutions.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and container platform security.
• IAM expertise at the infrastructure level: workload identity, service‑to‑service authentication, secrets management.
• A design approach grounded in Zero Trust, defence‑in‑depth and secure‑by‑design.
• Comfort working at enterprise architecture level while still going deep on technical details such as firewall rules, gateway configuration and traffic flows.
• Familiarity with AI‑specific infrastructure risks, including: inference security, workload isolation, access to models and data, integration with enterprise systems, use of external/third‑party models.
• A track record of driving architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build security reference architectures and blueprints for AI/ML infrastructure.
• Set architectural standards and reusable security patterns across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.
• Secure traffic between applications, models, inference endpoints, APIs and data platforms.
• Apply Zero Trust and least-privilege at network and infra layers.
• Run threat modelling and security reviews of platforms and designs.
• Translate security requirements into automated guardrails via IaC and CI/CD.
• Advise on selection and integration of network, cloud and AI security tooling.
• Collaborate with platform, cloud, DevOps, network, data and ML engineering teams.
• Act as a technical authority and mentor for other architects and engineers.
