Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer, AI Data to join our distributed AI team and develop data pipelines powering model training and next-generation products. You will work on high-quality datasets at-scale, combining engineering, infrastructure, and research for efficient AI training.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, exploring new data sources, and building scalable systems with strong backend fundamentals in Python and Bash on Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain large-scale data-processing pipelines for AI data.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for quality and cost efficiency.
• Own projects from discovery to implementation and iteration.
