Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join its AI team and build the data pipelines powering model training and next-generation AI products. You will discover new data sources and construct reliable pipelines to feed training datasets, while optimizing data quality, throughput and cost.

You will collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and support model development, taking ownership of projects from discovery to delivery in a remote, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production systems, data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving, initiative, and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
