Job summary

Revolut Ltd is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to safeguard operations across the EU and beyond. You will provide 2LoD advisory oversight, translate regulatory changes into practical policy, and drive governance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You'll partner with regulators and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance standards, shape risk-based monitoring, and support change initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a second line of defence compliance role
  • Solid understanding of EU banking and payment regulations
  • Prudential regulatory expertise under CRD/CRR
  • Experience with regulators or supervisory authorities
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Advising on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and related controls, and providing second-line challenge
  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the compliance management system, including governance, regulatory mapping, horizon scanning, and training
  • Monitoring regulatory developments, assessing business impact, maintaining regulatory inventory, and supporting regulatory change implementation
  • Analysing regulatory requirements and translating them into practical actions, policies, procedures, and guidance
  • Creating and challenging policies, procedures, and governance documentation, including management body papers
  • Leading risk-based compliance monitoring, analysing findings, tracking remediation, and assessing effectiveness
  • Supporting compliance risk assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of related controls
  • Maintaining oversight of employee-related compliance domains, including conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, and management suitability, ensuring assessments and policies are up to date
  • Collaborating with global Compliance and key stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure consistent standards and effective regulatory engagement

In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.

We’re looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to safeguard our operations and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You'll provide 2LoD compliance advisory oversight across the EU and advise on regulatory requirements and risks.

What you’ll be doing
  • Advising on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and related controls, and providing second-line challenge

  • Collaborating with global Compliance and key stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure consistent standards and effective regulatory engagement
What you’ll need
  • Experience in a second line of defence compliance role within a bank, payment institution, regulator, consultancy, or law firm advising financial institutions
  • A solid understanding of regulations and guidelines applicable to banks and/or payment institutions in the EU (e.g., EBA guidelines on internal governance and remuneration, SREP)
  • Prudential regulatory expertise, including capital requirements under CRD/CRR
  • Experience working with local and/or European supervisory and regulatory authorities
  • Knowledge of risk and control management, including the ability to identify compliance risks, assess control effectiveness, and recommend remediation
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring, oversight, or regulatory mapping
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to summarise regulatory expectations clearly
  • Great advisory and consultancy skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance
  • Integrity and high professional ethics to promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation
  • Fluency in English

  • A legal background with exposure to banking, payments, or financial services regulations
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • An understanding of financial technologies and services provided by Revolut
  • A problem-solving mindset with a practical, solutions-oriented, data-driven approach
  • Fluency in other languages
Compensation range
  • Poland: PLN17,000 - PLN18,900 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
