Job summary

ipracujzdalnie.pl is seeking an experienced Regular Datacenter Engineer to join a growing IT team in Poland. You will deploy and maintain enterprise datacenter infrastructure across multiple client projects, with a focus on Cisco-based networks and data center technologies.

The role offers remote or hybrid work, 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong routing knowledge (BGP/OSPF/ISIS/EIGRP), and opportunities to advance to modern automation and security solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar datacenter/networking role.
• Practical experience with network and datacenter solutions.
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols and L2 segments (BGP/OSPF/ISIS/EIGRP/STP).
• Practical knowledge of DC solutions (ACI/EVPN/NDFC/NX-OS).
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio for network diagrams.
• Communicative English; able to open tickets with Cisco TAC.
• Analytical thinking, teamwork, punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain enterprise datacenter infrastructure.
• Create technical designs and proposals with architects and sales.
• Troubleshoot network incidents (L2/L3 support).
• Produce and update technical and as-built documentation.
• Stay current with technology trends and grow toward modern tech.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Regular Datacenter Engineer (Cisco area)

location: Gdańsk, Wrocław, Warszawa, Rzeszów, Poznań, Łódź, Lublin, Kraków, Katowice, Białystok

Main Responsibilities

• Deployment, configuration and maintenance of network and datacenter infrastructure for enterprise-class clients
• Participation in creating technical designs and proposals (support for architects and sales teams)
• Troubleshooting incidents and issues with network infrastructure (L2/L3 technical support for service teams)
• Creating and updating technical and as-built documentation
• Keeping up with technology trends and willingness to develop toward modern technologies
• Performing periodic on-call duties for clients" critical systems

Must Have

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Practical experience in implementing and maintaining network and datacenter solutions
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols and L2 segments at CCNP level (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, STP)
• Practical knowledge of DC solutions at CCNP level (ACI, EVPN, NDFC, NX-OS)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Visio for creating network diagrams)
• Communicative English (reading documentation, opening tickets and collaborating with Cisco TAC)
• Analytical thinking, systematicness, punctuality, ability to work in a team

Nice To Have

• Freedom in conducting technical presentations (presales) and building relationships with clients" technical teams
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Datacenter).
• Basic knowledge of automation systems (Ansible, Python, Linux)
• Category B driving license
