Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an AI/ML Developer to join our team of engineers transforming Credit and Lending with cutting-edge AI. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-moving, innovative environment.

Requirements include 3+ years in AI/ML, Python with FastAPI and LangChain, SQL databases (PostgreSQL), API design, and cloud experience (Azure, GCP). Hybrid work from Cracow office several days a month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development
• Strong Python experience with FastAPI and LangChain
• Deep knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience in API design and microservices architecture
• Understanding of LLM architectures, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs for Credit & Lending use cases
• Develop and implement solutions using RAG and vector databases
• Participate in full lifecycle from problem discovery to production deployment
• Apply AI best practices for fairness, transparency, and accountability

Job description

We are looking for a skilled AI/ML Developer to join our dedicated team of engineers working on flagship AI and ML projects that are transforming the Credit and Lending landscape. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-moving and innovative environment. If you are passionate about applying cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world financial challenges, we want to hear from you.

Your tasks

• Designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve high-quality outputs for Credit & Lending use cases
• Developing and implementing sophisticated solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases to unlock insights from complex financial data
• Participating in the full lifecycle of our solutions, from problem discovery and prototyping to design, implementation, and production deployment
• Applying AI best practices to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in all models and applications
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and business experts to align technical efforts with strategic goals
• Writing and maintaining high-quality, testable, and reusable code
• Utilizing cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) for the development, deployment, and scaling of AI models
• Co-authoring solution designs and architecture and maintaining products in production

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML development
• Deep expertise in Python and its frameworks, including FastAPI and LangChain
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL databases, including PostgreSQL
• Practical experience with API design and microservices architecture
• Understanding of LLM architectures and practical experience with RAG and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms like Azure and GCP
• Experience in TDD and BDD methodologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, capable of explaining technical solutions to business stakeholders
• Advanced level of English

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and Spring framework
• Working from office in Cracow 6 times per month
