Job summary

KONE is seeking a Business Controller to join the Finance team supporting Poland & Ukraine and Czech Republic & Slovakia. The role centers on financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering with service lines to drive profitable growth.

You will operate in a centralized regional setup, enhancing reporting with Excel, SAP, and Power BI, and coaching the finance community on reporting and accounting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Business Controlling, FP&A or similar.
• Master's degree in finance or accounting; CIMA/ACCA underway.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with financial performance understanding.
• Fluent English; Polish, Czech, Slovak or Ukrainian is a plus.
• Ability to operate in fast-changing and matrix environments.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with understanding of drivers and performance metrics.
• Finance Business Partner to Service line; provide actionable insights for profitability.
• Influence pricing and productivity decisions; review contract profitability.
• Coordinate budgeting, month-end closing, and forecast preparation.
• Drive process improvements, harmonisation and automation.
• Support strategic planning for service business.
• Provide training on reporting and accounting.
