Job summary

Trindent Consulting is expanding its European practice and seeking Chemical Engineers with 2+ years of refinery experience to support client engagements across the EU. Consultants will travel approximately 80% to refinery sites, delivering data-driven improvements within one or more core services.

You will work with operations, planning, scheduling, labs and maintenance to implement sustainable processes and measurable performance gains, while building subject-matter expertise in the energy

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a refinery environment.
• Strong understanding of refinery operations and process engineering; advanced data mining and analysis skills in Excel; good communication with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Mine, cleanse and analyse operating data in Excel; develop dashboards, KPI grids and management reporting; support observations, audits, area profiles and continuous-improvement activities; translate findings into practical actions with measurable financial and operational impact.
• Work closely with refinery operations, planning, scheduling, laboratory, maintenance, engineering and management teams; help implement sustainable processes and embed new ways of working.
