We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Record to Report Accounting Assistant to support the timely and accurate execution of Accounting Operations activities within the Record to Report area, including General Ledger, Period-End Closing and Bank Postings. The ideal candidate is a team player, quick learner and motivated professional who enjoys working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

What you will be doing

• Process bank transactions and perform bank account reconciliations
  Process bank transactions accurately and on time, including regular reconciliation of bank accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Support month-end, period-end and year-end closing activities
  Perform closing tasks according to the Group schedule and support the Reporting Team during month-end close to ensure statutory closing is completed accurately and on time, enabling reporting in line with corporate deadlines.
• Support audits and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  Assist with interim and year-end audits and work closely with Customer Service, Sales Organizations and Financial Controllers to communicate and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance and identify process improvements
  Follow internal control procedures and ensure that current operating procedures and accounting policies are consistently applied. Identify opportunities to improve processes within the area of responsibility.
• Support accounting activities and contribute to projects
  Perform other accounting tasks and requirements as needed, support additional projects and activities, and follow all employee obligations arising from Amer Sports and Amer Sports GBS internal regulations and policies, including the Work Bylaw.

What you need to succeed

• Fluent English language skills
  Very good command of English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication in an international working environment.
• Background in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  Educational background or previous experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong technical skills
  Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence in working with financial and accounting data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  Ability to work accurately with financial information, maintain high-quality standards and identify discrepancies.
• Effective time management and teamwork
  Strong organizational and task management skills, combined with a collaborative approach and effective communication skills.
