Job summary

MEININGER Kraków Centrum is looking for a Receptionist to warmly welcome guests and manage check-ins/check-outs, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay. You will handle guest inquiries, provide local recommendations, and support daily operations including invoicing and time tracking in a busy, dynamic hotel environment.

Fluent German and English are preferred (A2–B1 min.). The role requires team collaboration and occasional F&B tasks, with shifts across weekdays, weekends and various times of day.

Qualifications

• First working experience in hotels or passion for HORECA industry.
• Fluent or strong working knowledge of German and English (A2–B1 level minimum).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and handle check-ins and check-outs to optimise occupancy.
• Answer guest inquiries and advise on local attractions and services.
• Handle invoicing, hour registration, online reputation checks and quality control.
• Collaborate with team and assist with occasional F&B tasks (breakfast, dinner, bar).
• Work across weekday/weekend, day/evening/night shifts as required.

YOUR TASKS

• You act as a great host and create a memorable stay for our guests
• You are in charge of the welcome and goodbye process from A to Z, managing check-ins and check-outs to create best experience for our guests and optimize hotel occupancy
• You respond to our guests' personal and phone inquiries and provide advice regarding local attractions, activities and additional services
• You take care of operational and administrative tasks: invoicing, hour registration, online reputation management, quality checks etc.
• You work in a team and are ready to take on occasional tasks in the F&B area (breakfast, dinner, bar)
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day-, evening- and night shifts

YOUR PROFILE

• You have your first working experience in the hotel, or you are passionate about HORECA industries
• You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment, performing a variety of tasks
• You are a people person, you like helping others and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests
• You are a team player, ready to help your colleagues and tackle challenges together
• You speak German and English fluently (solid A2-B1 level min.), any other languages are an advantage
