Flip is a complex social platform developed at a great scale with a service-oriented architecture.

We’ve created a code ecosystem with over 130 auto‑scalable microservices behind the API gateway integrated with a unified logging layer and common monitoring.

We have more than 130 microservices which we have created in accordance with microservices best practices. Those homogeneous Node.js microservices rely on the Nest framework. Such an approach allows us to build a microservice that is production‑ready in 15 minutes.

What is more, we use HA/HPA systems which are scalable depending on the user traffic. When it comes to databases, our go‑to solutions are MongoDB, Scylla, and SQL.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Creating UI elements based on Figma designs
• Participating in Code Reviews
• Taking ownership and responsibility for your code
• Integrating UI elements with REST API
• Estimating, defining, and executing projects based on the provided feature specifications and requirements
• Coming up with your own ideas and having an impact on the feature development and the direction of our product and ecosystem

What we need from you:

• Strong knowledge of modern frontend tech‑stacks
• Deep knowledge of the latest JS and TS standards
• Strong knowledge of NextJS framework
• Familiarity with state / data management libraries (Redux / MobiX)
• Basic knowledge of testing frameworks
• Familiarity with debugging tools
• Experience in 3rd‑party service integrations
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the best programming patterns in React
• Great communication skills to work within your team
• Experience in reviewing teammates code and designs
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to help others grow and meet a high bar of quality
