Job description

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team and work on the client for data monitoring in navigational simulation software.

In this role, you will develop complex interfaces, integrate mapping services, and work with data visualization. You'll work on a product that trains 40% of the world’s bridge officers, enhancing maritime safety and training. As part of an innovative team, you'll shape maritime simulation and engage with real users to make a tangible impact.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain a web application using React and TypeScript
• Work with Canvas/WebGL for data visualization
• Integrate mapping services (Mapbox, Leaflet)
• Develop Web Components
• Use MobX for state management
• Conduct code reviews, write tests, and participate in technical discussions
• Collaborate with backend developers and contribute to API design

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of ES6+ and modern JavaScript standards as well as Web Components
• Knowledge of MobX
• Experience working with Canvas and 2D graphics
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub Actions as well)
• Familiarity with SCRUM (Agile) development processes
• Fluent English
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• Previous work with Thrift
• Proficiency in D3.js, PixiJS, WebGL
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with SAFe, SASS/LESS and knowledge of BEM
• Mapbox and Leaflet skills
