Job summary

Orange Polska invites a skilled Radio Network Engineer to contribute to the design and development of radio engineering guidelines and tools, focusing on optimization and dimensioning for 2G/3G/4G/5G networks. You will work in a cross-functional, international environment with the French branch.

The role emphasizes collaboration on KPI definitions, tool development, and coordination of implementation across affiliates, while maintaining high quality and performance of radio networks.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical university degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Radio Network Engineering and tool development.
• Fluent in English and Polish; French is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with telecom vendor interactions and QoS optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support affiliates to improve radio performance and QoS of 2G/3G/4G/5G access networks.
• Contribute to guidelines for radio optimization and dimensioning based on trials and vendor exchanges.
• Define parameter setting templates for 2G/3G/4G/5G per supplier for C-SON usage.
• Develop KPIs for mutualized performance monitoring of affiliates’ networks.
• Contribute to the specification and development of radio engineering tools.
• Coordinate implementation of solutions and represent Orange in Architecture discussions with the Orange Group.

Job description

Contribution to the design and development of radio engineering guidelines and tools with a focus on optimization & dimensioning domains. You will be work in cross – functional, international environment with frequent interactions and cooperation with the French branch of Orange.

Responsibilities:

• Support Orange affiliates to improve the radio performance and QoS of their 2G/3G/4G access networks:
• Contribution to Guidelines for radio optimization and dimensioning based on trials done in affiliates and exchanges with RAN vendors
• Contribution to the specification of parameter setting templates in 2G/3G/4G/5G per supplier, for an operational usage in the C-SON of affiliates.
• Contribution to the KPI for the mutualized performance monitoring of affiliates’ networks (QoS 2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Support the software development of Engineering tools:
• Contribute to the specification of Radio engineering tools to fit with new projects
• Contribute to the development et validation of these Radio engineering tools
• Be part of the project on Radio engineering tools.
• Representing Orange and coordinating collaboration on Architecture with the Orange Group
• Supervising the quality and continuity of services provided
• Coordination of the implementation of solutions

Requirements:

• Technical university degree in Telecommunications, or a related field
• Min. 5 years of experience in Radio Network Engineer – developing and exploiting engineering tools
• Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of the telecom environment
• Strong ability to work and manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship-building and international cooperation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Communicative French – nice to have
