Job summary

Brenntag in Łódź, Poland, is seeking an R2R Analyst for General Ledger and Reporting in a hybrid setup (3 days in office, 2 remote). You will drive end-to-end R2R activities, including journal entries, closings, and reconciliations, while ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls.

Transition experience is valued. The role involves collaboration with SSC and local finance teams, maintaining SAP master data, supporting audits, and delivering analytical financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Education degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Record to Report / General Ledger accounting.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or similar environment is advantageous.
• Transition experience is a plus.
• Fluent English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• IFRS knowledge and SAP/MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Review Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, including inventory.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and confirm balances.
• Prepare analytical reports and support financial reporting.
• Maintain R2R master data and fixed assets in SAP.
• Support audits with required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with local finance, SSC, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure internal controls and IFRS compliance; document processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
